The time of year we’ve all been waiting for is almost here! The Cheerleading Worlds 2022 is the most anticipated competition of the season and although you’ve been following your favorite teams throughout the year, anything can happen on The Cheerleading Worlds mat!

The Cheerleading Worlds 2022 Bid Recipients will be heading to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on April 23-25th and FloCheer is going to break down every division at The Cheerleading Worlds so that you will know what to expect in Orlando, Florida. 

L6 International Open Non Tumbling

Division History

The Level 6 International Open Non Tumbling division is anyone's to win! With a max of 30 athletes on the floor at a time these incredible, all girl teams will perform elite two-minute routines that include only stunts, choreography, and jumps - no tumbling. With a higher risk for deductions, these teams have to be on their A-game to take home the championship title.

In 2019, the L6 International Open Non Tumbling division was introduced and Cheer Extreme Lady Lux won the inaugural world championship title.

In 2021, the division had 40 teams take the floor at The Cheerleading Worlds with hopes of making it to the Finals. Cheer Central Suns Lady Aurora secured their win with a zero deduction routine and a final score of 127.5

The competition in the Level 6 International Open Non Tumbling division will be massive this year when 69 of the world's best all girl teams battle for the globe.

The Cheerleading Worlds 2021 Results

GOLD: Cheer Central Suns - Lady Aurora

Final Score: 127.5

Cheer Central Suns Lady Aurora made history as only the second team to claim the world championship title in the L6 International Open Non Tumbling division! Lady Aurora's went against 40 teams and proved no one could top their two zero deduction routines. 

SILVER: The California All Stars - San Marcos - Sparkle

Final Score: 126.75

The California All Stars Sparkle put up a fight at The Cheerleading Worlds 2021 earning a zero deduction routine in Finals to hold onto their second-place rank throughout the weekend and claim the silver medals. 

BRONZE: Cheer Extreme - Kernersville - Lady Lux

Final Score: 123.45

Lady Lux earned the bronze medals at The Cheerleading Worlds 2021. The fan-favorite team found themselves returning to the podium after winning the first-ever L6 International Open Non Tumbling title in 2019.

JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals

Cheer Central Suns - Lady Aurora

Current World Champions, Lady Aurora from Cheer Central Suns, started the season strong! The team took home first place at JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals putting on a showstopping routine followed by Maryland Twisters Virginia Thin Ice in second and Cheer Athletics Plano Scratch6 taking third.

CHEERSPORT National All Star Cheerleading Championship

Cheer Extreme - Kernersville -Lady Lux

Lady Lux started the season ready to reclaim their world title and got one step closer by winning the 2022 CHEERSPORT National All Star Cheerleading Championship with a 97.6716. Woodlands Elite - OR - GI Janes took second in Atlanta followed by Maryland Twisters Virginia Thin Ice in third.

NCA All-Star National Championship

Woodlands Elite - OR - GI Janes

22 teams faced off in the Arena as they competed for the L6 International Open Non Tumbling title at NCA All-Star.

Coming off a close second-place finish at CHEERSPORT, the GI Janes from Woodland's Elite put on a championship-worthy performance hitting two zero deduction routines to claim the 2022 NCA All-Star National Championship title.

Cheer Extreme Lady Lux finished the weekend in second place after having the highest score in the division on Day 1. The California All Stars Sparkle rounded out the winner's circle in third place.

UCA International All Star Championship

Cheer Extreme - Kernersville -Lady Lux

Coming back from a close second at NCA the next stop for Lady Lux was Orlando, Florida, to compete at the 2022 UCA International All Star Championship.

Lady Lux showed up strong at UCA smacking two incredible zero deduction routines to secure a big win with a final score of 97.1324. World Cup Omni took second place in Orlando followed by Elite Heat All-Stars Phoenix in third.

Prelims for the Level 6 International Open Non Tumbling division will take place on Saturday, April 23rd. The Semi-Finals round will begin on Sunday, April 24th and your 2022 L6 International Open Non Tumbling Champions will be crowned in Finals on Monday, April 25th.
