The time of year we’ve all been waiting for since 2019 is almost here with only a couple of weeks left to go! The Cheerleading Worlds 2021 is the most anticipated competition of the season and this year more than ever is going to be a year of endless possibilities.

Senior Large Coed Level 6

With the 2020 Cheerleading World’s being canceled, we have anxiously awaited a new Senior Large Coed Level 6 champion since 2019, when the Stingray All-Stars Steel took home the Globe.


Division History 

The Senior Large Coed Level 6 division is one of the most-watched divisions at The Cheerleading Worlds! Each year, a different team takes the top spot at some of the major competitions throughout the season and of course at the Cheerleading Worlds. The competition is immense every year for these top teams and we can't wait to see which one of them ends up on top! 

The Cheerleading Worlds 2019 Results

Stingray All-Stars Steel

In 2019, The Stingray All-Stars Steel won the Level 5 Senior Large Coed World Championship. Matching difficulty with creativity in their stunting, Stingray All-Stars Steel took the division with their rippled coed style full ups and extended hand in hands.

Top Gun TGLC

Finishing in 2nd place, Top Gun’s TGLC wowed the crowd with their Karate theme routine incorporating creative elements throughout their routine to go with their theme.

Season Recap


Here’s a look at the winners from the Level 6 Senior Large Coed division from some of this season's major events. Will these teams medal again at this year's World Championship? We wait anxiously to watch these incredible teams take the Worlds mat for the first time since 2019!

This season, two teams took on CHEERSPORT Nationals, while three teams took on NCA All-Star Nationals and the MAJORS in the L6 Senior Large Coed division.

CHEERSPORT Nationals 2021

Two powerhouse teams in the Senior Large Coed division took the stage in Atlanta, Georgia. Top Gun TGLC took home another CHEERSPORT Nationals victory this year with a 98.6 after defeating the Stingray All-Stars Steel who placed second with a 95.575. 

NCA All-Star Nationals 2021

On the second biggest all star stage next to Worlds, Cheer Athletics Cheetahs took the top spot at NCA Nationals as all the teams had a different take on the competition this year, submitting videos to be judged virtually. Top Gun TGLC came in second by just .1 followed by the Stingray All-Stars Steel in third. 

The MAJORS 2021

Cheer Athletics Cheetahs won the event after the teams took on the live event from their home gyms this year. Top Gun TGLC placed second while the Stingray All Stars Steel took third.  

Senior Large Level 6


Division History

Dating back to 2019 when the last Cheerleading World’s took place, World Cup Shooting Stars took home the globe after being in 4th after Day 1. The reigning world champions were unable to reclaim their title in 2020 and the cheer world anxiously awaits a new champion at this year's Cheerleading World’s.

As proven in the past, this division is nearly impossible to predict, however, we will take a look at who has claimed the top spots throughout this competition season and get an idea of who the front runners are to take the crown at this year's Cheerleading Worlds.

World Cup Shooting Stars

Taking the crown at the 2019 Cheerleading Worlds, the World Cup Shooting Stars truly brought their theme to life when they hit their Wonder Woman-themed routine on Day 2. Check it out!

Cheer Extreme Senior Elite

Finishing in 2nd place in 2019, Cheer Extreme Senior Elite showcased elegance and strength throughout their routine, proving that their sisterhood is like no other. Check out this crowd favorite routine!

Season Recap


CHEERSPORT Nationals 2021

The talent was through the roof at the 2021 CHEERSPORT Nationals in Atlanta, Georiga. Cheer Extreme Senior Elite won the division again, scoring a 97.85 and defeating the Stingray All-Stars Orange who placed second by just .2 after both teams hit zero on Day 2.

NCA All-Star Nationals 2021

Cheer Extreme Senior Elite took the division once again at one of the largest all-star competitions in the country after winning their first NCA title just last year. The team scored a 98.3! World Cup Shooting Stars and Cheer Athletics Panthers tied for second, both scoring a 97.6. The Stingray All Stars Orange came in third with a 97.1.

The MAJORS 2021

Cheer Extreme Senior Elite has gone undefeated so far this year after taking their first win of the season at the MAJORS. Cheer Athletics Panthers placed second, while the Stingray All-Stars Orange placed third. Will Cheer Extreme Senior Elite hold the top spot yet again at the 2021 Cheerleading Worlds?

This season, with the same top teams claiming those top 3 spots every event, this division is definitely one you won't want to miss! Who will take home the Large Senior Level 6 title in 2021? Be sure to watch these teams take the floor LIVE May 8th - 10th!
